Hey there!
I'm pretty new here, and I think a quote was a great way to start off. Quotes have a way of getting you thinking, and getting the creative juices flowing. When I logged on this morning, I immediately read the Writing.com newsletter for Horror (which is the genre of my current project). They listed a few quotes from Stephen King (the King by all respects) and they got me PUMPED! One of them was "Talent is cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work." I felt that so deeply! While I am one who writes for the opportunity, I do have the ultimate goal to be published one day, but I know that it will consist of more hard work than I have ever attempted. As they say, ('they' as in King, another quote from the newsletter), "The road to Hell is paved with adverbs."
Immediately following the newsletter, I checked my notifications and was informed that you became a fan of my first chapter! I cannot thank you profusely enough! You have completely made my entire day! I clicked your name and it brought me to this post and I wanted to take a few minutes to encourage you to post some of your personal work, but I did enjoy reading your thoughts!
With all of the current media attention on this topic, the words resonate deeply with me. I love how strong we become when we put this effort in together!
