I want to start out by saying that I am new to writing.com and this really helped me in the way I evaluate someone elses writing. I joined this site after friends asked me too, to review their work and never having written a review before, i'll admit I was a little lost on what all to consider. So again, thank you, this was very helpful.
I would like to start out by saying while I have not read your book. I have a friend who has and said she liked it. So I just might give it a shot. You mentioned you liked to write Science Fiction but you didn't say that you liked to read fantasy. Since they usually go hand in hand, I'm going to assume that you like fantasy too. If this is the case I would like to recommend the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I know it has inspired me a lot in my writing style. I find it very refreshing the way he writes his books in that they involve all of his characters points of view. If you haven't read them I would recommend it. It could give you some more inspiration. Also, I am writing a novel myself, sort of a fantasy/science fiction hybrid. I will be posting a few chapters on here to see what readers think, and I would appreciate it if you could keep an eye out for my post in the fantasy static genre and post a good "no holes barred" review. Sorry this is so long. Thank you.
Let me start by saying "wow". That was very captivating and very interesting. I love how you used so many different descriptive words. It made the story so much more interesting. The only real criticism I have is just a small error :
"The cosmos was populated by planets" I think the "was" should've been a "were". Other than that I liked it. Great story!
