I loved every word. The ending was very satisfying, and I was rooting for Fawkes the whole way.

A very charming read! The prose flows well and is very engaging. The tension ramps up at a steady, even pace that suits the story perfectly. The descriptions are just enough for me to get vivid image of the setting, and that's great. Not too bogged down with minute details. Very good read.
