Very funny fan fiction piece; I could definitely picture Scooby and the gang singing Thriller for real. I wonder too if the writers of the Scooby Doo and the Music of the Vampire movie thought about including this song somehow, as it would have been cool.
Especially since Vincent Price was heard in the actual song, and he voiced Vincent Van Ghoul in the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. Incidentally, regarding Mr. Roarke's appearance, i've been tinkering with a crossover fan fiction that has Scooby and the gang getting their own fantasies on Fantasy Island.
I'll probably post it online somewhere eventually; one of the fantasies I chose to do for the gang is Velma's fantasy being... that she wants to be a witch for a period of time. It sounds weird, but she has dressed as a witch twice for Halloween(in actual Scooby Halloween episodes), so I figure it would be fun to explore the fact that Velma may have a secret fantasy to be a witch.
I've watched a few state lottery game shows on youtube, and they're interesting. My home state of Washington does not, and has never had a state lottery game show, despite having a state lottery.
The state lottery now has Powerball, but this came after the Powerball game shows were cancelled, so I only got to watch that show online on youtube. I do agree that you can be anyone and be from any walk of life can go on a game show and win life changing money.
Actually, that's one of the reasons I like game shows. They're full of fun, nostalgia, and you can even learn things from them(mostly trivia based shows like Jeopardy or the old Tic Tac Dough).
This is my first review of any piece of writing on this site, so here goes:
I am also a writer(mostly of fan fiction, but I don't know if I will be able to put anything like that on this site). Irregardless, this is an interesting start to a story.
I listen to a modern radio drama series called Imagination Theater by the way, and one of their dramas featured characters that worked for Pinkerton. I think the drama was set in Maryland if I remember right.
Anyway, this is a good start, and I hope you keep writing.
