I really enjoyed this piece. With the topic of why God created the cosmos, who wouldn't? Generally, people fixate on the, good versus evil, sin and redemption angle. How refreshing to boil everything down to enjoying a melon. Loved the line, 'when God tells me to eat, I dig in.' It's easy to relate to the message here. We write words for others to enjoy, an obvious parallel to God creating for others to enjoy. The theory is simple and thought provoking. Would we not have the characteristics of our creator? This is what this piece does for you. It expands the thought process. I suspect it will become a part of my own consciousness. That's powerful stuff. Also, I liked how the author reinforced the theory with the image of Mickey the cat, lapping ice cream. This is a short but powerful piece that leads me to a familiar place. Yes, God created the universe. But, who created God?
