What I liked: The descriptions are awesome, and witty. I was impressed about how vivid the characters were, how detailed. I also loved the funny remarks, being my favourite "Father Mathew agreed with his housekeeper Annie that this was a bit over the top but couldn’t bring himself to put his hand up their skirts and remove the bulbs." In general, I think the style is brilliant and creates a very good atmosphere. Honestly, congratulations.
What I didn't like: The introduction is really long and well writtend, so I was expecting more developement. The plot is really small, and the reader is left with a "that's all that happened?" feeling.
