Clear and concise, if a bit superficial, travellogue type narrative. To make it better, you need to show more of the country and really characterize the people rather than telling these things. characterization would require knowing them, of course, which might take some doing. To make it better still, you'd have to make it journalism, not travellogue, that means the dirt truth about the place. when you ripped off, you have to tell the specifics of it, not just a passing reference. If you took each point you generalize about and use specific details to tell them, i think this would be a much better piece.
