I believe that (1) handsome auto rewards, (2) an item's genre or topic, and (3) creativity of the title or blurb all contribute to getting a larger amount of reviews, rather than just expecting tons of author's and critics to review your writing.
That was an amazing story. I felt as if I were there and nearly cried when you couldn't find your friends. I couldn't tell if it was real or not. You described each scene perfectly. It sent shivers down my spine. I absolutely loved it. I really hope that you'll write more.
