Review of Through the Storm
Review by Pony.Mike

Wow, I do hope this story happened only in the imagination of its author. It is an enticing short story, well written, no noticeable errors, remaining focus on the main plot, culminating to a happy ending. As considering the when from what I know of science and meteorology, a person being where she was in the story should not likely have lived to tell such a story!

Depth and sullen meanings, a warning for them what hunt that God had hid, to those who brave as dare to traverse an inhospitable region of heat, sand, and no water, the mountains would wish if they could say it, as "Good Luck!"

Short, direct, and interesting, causing the reader to wonder as to the deeper meanings, other than to warn what to expect if one dares to search to find riches.

A big oops there, as another son visiting is ever seen again! A short story, although nicely detailed, the exchange of conversation and some quick magic mixed to create a sensual story. I feel sad that the exchange and transformation scene was not expanded, it could have really added to the plot. Everything else about your story was fine, spelling, everything!

I wish you good luck with your writing future.

She was seated on a doorstep asking for pity and some money. I traveled a lot, as went to every state with the exception of Texas and Alaska. I rode trains, met people, some real, some fake, but all were there riding to gain something.

Beatrice, was her name, a slim somewhat sexy young woman, and we met aboard the Broadway Limited heading for Washington D.C. She was interesting, fun to talk to, well dressed, a nice smile, I asked her to join me for diner in the dinner. We sat and ate, as the wine vanished she asked me to follower her to her stateroom and some talking and fun. I stayed to pay for the diner, as she went ahead to tidy up her room.

"Excuse me sir, you were with that lady, is she traveling with you," asked the dinning car head-steward.

"Actually, no, we met earlier in the observation car, where I invited her for diner.

"Do you know she is a huckster, a lady or the evening, and she travels with a man who has said he is her husband."

"Oh really, I said, gaining new knowledge of a nice person doing underhanded things. I thanked the steward and tipped the man twenty buck for keeping me for getting into trouble. I was much later and I heard a ruckass happening in the hallway of my Pullman car.

i opened the door to my Drawing room space, and saw her, she with a young him and an older, as fat man all arguing with the train Conductor.

"Excuse me, please, please," I said as everything in the hallway ceased. "I trust there is some trouble about that man being in her stateroom, as her husband came along and found them in a precarious potions, yes, no?

Conductor, the woman is a hustler huckster and the man who specified he was her husband is her straight-man. I suggest you turn the two young folks over to the next police department and let that foolish old man go to his stateroom to think about his future."

Some hot words came from that nice lady, she had a temper, and knew lost of nasty words. The Conductor returned and thanked me, as informed me there was a warrant out for the arresting of the two hucksters. That was a lesson to me as not to be too willing, as drop some coins of if feeling kind, a five dollar bill.

Good story, well written, and a reminder to me, I say thanks!

Review of The Gene Pool

Well done, an interesting story based on deceit and transformation, two types of doom done more easily to people, as the lifestyles of animals appeal to humans, as would a mule-girl wish to be again a simple mule.

The detailing of the story increases the reader's interest and sparks the imagination as reading more entices one to know the final ending.

This story is best made better from reading it more than once, as it like a classic book holds a reader in a fun fantasy, scene after scene!

Wow, such a envisioned story of devious friends and of wanting to feel the onslaught of a coming to death, the story seems almost truthful. I did not appreciate your theme, as planned suicide or any form of suicide is foolish, dumb, and of evil.

Although well written, the plot of encasement for the hope of creating a suicide of a friend or future associates, defies reason to me.

Good luck enjoying encasement, as mummified, cast in plaster, or wrapped in deadly cellophane causes body heat to suffocate even a breathing victim.

Indeed a vague start to a suspenseful story about the light and dark in any life, and what rules by dark brings with it a sensation of suspense and horror, what by day and with the light seems foolish for bothering to feel scared.

The bright light and dense darkness might be a lighthouse.
The darkness might be in your bedroom by night and a quick glimmer of light could come from a car entering the driveway, or lightning flashing from an impending storm.

Good Luck with your future story!

A story yes, but posted minus any paragraphing, making the reading of it as unnecessarily difficult. The story wording holds merit as decent prose.

Changing can be horrific and fun. The horrific side of a transformation is the thinking as how it will change your everyday lifestyle. The fun side might well be when the changing begins, it comes over a body offering strange and sensual experiences. As for werewolves, they like dogs find fire hydrants as tempting places to sniff the scents of varied passers by, some being relations then to the Were-creature!

The story is short but direct and has dialogue rather than a plain time lapse of this begat this what caused such pain the person lost their wits and fell into beastly ways... your story has merit!

Review of For Adam

A nice poem with real concerns and a general warning of what to expect when you lose a friend, relative, or close family. More so, your poem requires being read more than once to cause the reader to reflect, as consider how the theme strikes home to their lives as well. Nicely added is some respect for the God who created all, and the fond hope of a grand meeting with those lost and gone forever!

Review of Transformation

Never trust a demon to do anything they suggest might become a reality, as they are from biblical reading, known to being liars, deceitful, and hateful toward all that lives. Indeed, a short story what evokes the reader to think and decide wisely as never to do the same or anything similar, as demonic's lack being trustworthy.

Nest story, or more a chapter, but it bares as a possible plot for something bigger.

Cattle in a bus, smelling sweat, smoke, dust, and feeling as if you had by Metro-mechanic become as livestock put in a stock car and ready of shipment!

Cute as short a story but has a lot of truth and meaning to modern day lifestyles!

Review of Wild Things

A cute story, though romantic, it was either a proposed introduction to some bigger story or a minor work, lacking of details what might have added to the reader's interests about gorillas and life in a cage.

Personally, I like Jinns, they own each a sense of justice what if violated they strike the offender. Maybe that is why there are so many donkeys used to tote burden in the middle east. It seems a shame that such righteous teachings, as any religions, there are those who would use the good books as maps to divide and concur, leaving them as the ruler. Almost as do children at play, playing King on the Mountain, brawling to see who sits at the top seat.

Keep writing, use your past as a guide to enhance the plot to your stories.

Nice story with a fair fabled warning to those who would steal, as steal from a Mage, witch, or wizard and expect to pay dearly for your ill deed. I did like the story, the detailing both of the plot and the reward, mentioning in decent terms how much anybody might feel their body changing into something wholly different than as what they were born.

Good Story!
