Cindy;

It is a pleasure to stand with you after the close of these 21 Days of Poetry.

This poem appealed to me because the imagery and sensations were captured extremely well. You actually delved into the wall and what it represented without apology or trying to make it beautiful. I liked the honesty of that approach. The title Imprisonment was strong and the poem did not disappoint or deny its strength. A very nice look at something disturbing.

Continue the great writing.

This is a lovely expression of how someone feels about the person they love.

I like the line: I feel as though I'm on a majestic plateau. How wonderful it is to feel that someone's love has elevated our emotions to a loftier place and realm.

Keep up the inspirational writing.

Thank you for writing this and what the true meaning of Christmas is.

The world becomes frantic toward the end of the year and it isn't until the New Year arrives that some think, wasn't there supposed to be something more to all this.

Christ's birth changed the world, whether you believe in Him or not, that fact remains.

Review of Coming home  Open in new Window.

Clever working of words making the case for writing and the need to do it.

I liked the little insider's bit with the font names, this makes one believe the writer has actually searched for something other than the normal 'New Times Roman'.

The line at the end threw me off by seeming so abrupt, however this was where the rhyme matched the other lines so it just happened that way.

Keep up the good writing.

Good first chapter showing the confusion of being displaced into a foreign environment and aiming for survival. Good banter from the contemporary heroine set against a more formal Ketsueki.

The chapter held enough intrigue to prompt reading into the next.

Extremely poetic, the words painting a portrait of the season.

Wonderful words expressing losing a part of your life, unsure of the other's feelings as they too suffer the loss.

Thank you for this piece, especially in this time of controversy over our beliefs.

I enjoyed this as the feeling is universal yet so personal at the same time. It is left for us to decide what we will make of the situation.

Clever use of words, especially: on my dimple is a pimple, and, can't feel my toe.

A little slice of life through an inanimate object.

Extremely interesting concept. I enjoy reading pieces that provide a different slant, such as the reality view of a pencil. Favorite line: She was very tall with a disgustingly dirty eraser with little bits of the top coming off that looked like it hadn't been used in weeks.

The piece also addresses, with a fresh approach, the downfall of falling to peer pressure.

The only problem with the piece is its readability. Consider spacing between the paragraphs and the impact will be greater, helping the reader grasp the meaning
without struggling.

Keep up the good work.

Review of The Liar  Open in new Window.

Wonderful words desribing a liar, because they are unable to get caught.

Wonderful! All those things stuffing themselves into a few moments of personal time.
I love the line: "I've explained this to her before but have come to realize that Pam needs a date with a neurologist to test her memory loss, but both of us forget to call for the appointment."

Thoroughly captures the place we do not ever want to share.
