Wow, I enjoyed reading this poem. I felt as though I am right there at the beach. The first line pulled me right in and I want to keep on reading. Your poem flows smoothly. The ending took me by surprise. You sure can't go into the ocean with a cast on your arm and that is so sad. Overall, I give it five stars. Thank you very much for sharing your poem with us!
