That was really beautiful. I really loved the imagery. I really love the line, "Death casts on the beauty of life." Without death would life be as worth as much? I don't think it would. Thank you it was really wonderful. I really enjoyed reading it.
It's an interesting start. I'm certainly interested to see where its going. I find the character of Charles intriguing. I don't think that you find too many main characters that have ocd or are borderline autistic (I assume that's what you were going for). The only downside is that it is a rather slow start. I think you're trying to make a point with going over pretty much every moment of Charles's day but it may get a little hard to get through if it goes on much longer. But overall I really liked it.
