I really liked this! You did a great job capturing the moment when two people look into each others eyes and see that flame of desire!

I really like this poem. It offers the reader a really great way to step back from a situation and realize that anger and impatience more often than not lead to absolutely nothing but more toil and less resolution. The last stanza struck me specifically because it almost felt as though it was a prayer. The poet is almost praying to get through a tough situation instead of turning back to his or her old ways.
