I dare say that I am feeling this devious Jim's wrath at this very moment as my Finals creep out from under the shadows.

I love the Native American way of telling a story.
It is always so simple and touches the heart. You did an excellent job with the form.
At first I thought Mother Earth and Father Sky were mad at the small family, it was hard to tell they were grieving until Great Bear told them to stop.
I did very much enjoy the story.

Hey, good job.
I like the humor thrown in right at the end.
It seemed out of pattern to have the "L" in life capatalized because nothing else is.
The only part I had to stop and go back on was the syntax of "enjoy I must," but other than that I devoured each moment. ;)
The imagery was great! No suggestions there.
As for the rhyme the only even iffy one was moment and portent, but it flowed anyway.
Overall, great work!!!
