I liked it. I liked the picture that you painted within the poem. I was able to visualize each object mentioned in the piece as if right before me.

One question though, did you mean red-checkered table cloth, instead of red-checked table cloth.

A very enjoyable read. Keep at it.

Well written with great detail and precission. It has the flow of Prefontaine running a race, no struggle, as smooth as breathing in air.
Nothing more needed, it's written with perfection.
