I really enjoyed reading this! You did a good job of capturing the narrator's personality in the way in which he spoke and it gave the impression that a real person was telling it. His thuggish and lacking grammer also added humor to the story. I also liked how you were able to mesh that humor with a sense of eeriness and create a pretty good scary story. I almost want to tell it now next time I go to a sleep over party! I am now very interested in reading the rest of your work (and I don't need a "double-dog-dare")! :)
This poem really touched me. No lie, I felt a slight tugg on the old heart strings when I read this. And personally I don't see anything silly about it, as I feel that a dog's love is a love like none other, and one that is almost so pure and forgiving that it almost resembles God's. A simple poem, yet beautiful.
I think this is a good idea! I mean, how many campfires do we have here, that are poems? And I like your choise of topic...silence is golden...for silence really can be golden. Oh, and I've requested an invitation, as well. ;]
Hmm...this is very creative. Love the "DUnno" at the bigining....since sometimes I'm just not in the mood to read a big long intro. Anyway, I think that this is a good idea, simple stuff like this can really wake up the mind, and let creativity flow in.
I've given you a 5 star perfect, because you have shown me how good you are at creatng a vivid picture in the mind's eye of the reader. You obiously have talent....
I do however find myself a bit baffled....what was this item meant for? Did you simply want to show the world that you describe a charater? Or are these charaters that you describe really part of a story you have written, are writing, or plan to write? All in all, you definitely sound like a good writer! ;)
