Very good for a short story! I especially liked how you plugged real guinea pig reactions into Rose, Violet, & Frances (i.e. when Rose was bouncing into Violet's house)! I also really liked how you included the recipe for Catfall Soup!
My main suggestion would be to develop the characters a little more. Maybe you could write about how the guinea pigs first met, or maybe how the big bad fat black cat started scheming to get at them.
Anyway, that's just a few suggestions. All in all, I really enjoyed it!
