We all may feel that connection, which bonds us- as writers, pen-pals; and human beings contributing... leaving a legacy, by sharing ourselves with the world.
Thank you for creating a place for us to remember the members of this wonderful community.
The item is easy to read- and paints a very good picture of someone who has been feeling "unworthy" and is focusing towards "the light" of self-forgiveness.
Self-esteem is something that seems to come so naturally to some, while it becomes a challenging quality to posses for others.
They say: "The meek shall inherit the Earth"... then parodoxically "Only the strong survive"... Which one is it?
It's ironic that some of the nicest and/or virtuous people have challenges with their own worth- while some of the corrupt and/or flawed... may stand high and firm on their own pedestal of self-worth.
"Thought-provoking" and so very insightful!
My favorite part: "for surely Mankind, if only he were to become better acquainted with his enemies as individuals, could learn to stop fighting like cats and dogs"... How true is that? That being an excellent point, about the metaphoric "fighting like cats and dogs" comparison of Mankind and his/her potential capability of befriending his/her adversaries.
From what I've seen, you could give
overly judgmental reveiwers, a lesson in opening
their minds. I would like to check out more of your items, for review- as you have presented your insightful appreciation my way.
Yours is a to-the-point, poetic slant- expressed with
an experienced insight, on the arrogance of some
reviewers, who may diminish the authors- for
which they review.
Thanks for openness, as well as your interest.
