This is a beautifully written poem! You've created your own form and it works well with the length of lines you've chosen. Your friend is lucky to have such a tribute dedicated to her. You have a talent for writing poetry, I hope you keep it up.
Well done, and I look forward to reading more of your work.
Beautifully written. I interpret this poem to be about the internal struggle we all have to to succeed despite our fears. You have used wonderful imagery to show how our fears can hold us captive, even with an open door.
This is a lovely poem with nice imagery. You paint a beautiful picture of a boy's intimate moment with his grandmother and mother. I got the sense that you were, in some ways, comparing the boy's life to the butterfly's, but toward the end you mark the difference. I chose not to read too much into it and enjoyed it as a tribute to a special time spent with important women in the boy's life.
Very nice work, and I look forward to reading more of your poetry.
This is a beautifully written piece of work. I hope that it was as cathartic for you as it was enlightening for me. Your writing ability speaks volumes of your talent and your ability to reach inside yourself. I hope you continue to touch others with it. It is there, you have found it, others need it.
This is certainly a captivating piece. It is well written, although there are some areas that seem over-described. I like your use of alliteration (flickering of familiar faces in a photo album). It fits well within the passage and, although not entirely flowing, didn't feel contrived.
I found no grammatical errors. I must say I found it difficult to follow the alternating scenes. You did say it was an experimental piece, so I took that into consideration.
Overall, I like your writing style. It is honest and reflective, although I think you could make it more powerful by using fewer words in places.
Well done, and I look forward to reading more of your work.
This is a very well-written and researched article of bipolar disorder. I do question this statement you make: Bipolar III comes about as the result of the medication prescribed to people with depression. Often times, a person who suffers from depression will be given drugs such as the steroid cortisone or other antidepressants which can actually reverse the depression into mania. Not that I disbelieve that this is thought to be possible, but you state this in a manner that implies fact, as opposed to speculation, which I believe it is, unless this is a brand new diagnostic category. If this is the case, please accept my apologies.
Overall, well written and informative. I only give it 4.5 points because I what I mentioned above.
