Well done. From the title, I expected more of a fantasy flavor, but you incorporated the scifi quite well. Unexpected perhaps, but quite intriguing; I look forward to reading more.
The writing was clean, and the sentences flowed quite nicely. Perhaps, since I am new here, I don't know what I am talking about. But I know what I like, and I like this story.
