WOW!!! Making a poem with such delicate structure and perfect rhyming--not to mention a very imaginative rhyming pattern--requires a lot of skills as a poet! You basically made four sets of 5-5-1 stanzas then conclude it with a common 4-line stanza with a different rhyming pattern than all the others. In doing so, you really emphasized the last four lines which mark the climax of your poem. You built up awareness about war in your earlier stanzas and gave away a simple yet sad truth about it on the last one. This is just so dramatic and perfectly written!
Oh I just love this!!!!! I love the repetition of the third line in each stanza. I love the rhyming pattern of the second and fourth lines! The title goes well with it since "imagine" is the most repeated word that it makes the reader really focus on it and actually imagine what you want them to. I just love patterns! I am a big fan of 4-stanza poems with 4 lines each... :D
Above all, I love when a poem is simply written yet it greatly stirs emotion. :)
Keep up the good, no, the GREAT work! ;)
