I have to say I generally don't care for my neck hairs standing up, but I felt you did a good job for a short story. It was exciting, captivating and I felt myself wanting to read to the end, wanting to find out just what's happening, just what is going on. The only thing I had trouble doing was feeling that the kids were all mid teenagers for their age. The story and the characters, I could only visualize them as somewhere around 10-12, getting in trouble, getting in mischief and with the behaviors you established. Otherwise I really enjoyed it! good work ^_^
