I really think your poem is fascinating. It reminds me of the world we live in right now, and makes me think of a lot of different
situations our people are going through. The lines I enjoy most are 'Innocence means nothing, when it should absolutely mean most of all.'
Another part of this I think is interesting is 'We are all just as guilty as the man pulling the trigger.' When I read that line the first
thing I thought of was the elementary school shooting that had happened recently, and I believe that there is definitely truth in what you write.
How does someone get into the mindset to do those things to people, and how did no one see the signs beforehand? Your poem really got me thinking a thousand different scenarios, so thank you for your stunning visuals, and I hope to be able to write the way you do one day :)
