Hello Snow is Writing Poetry,

Sadly this is pretty accurate. I very much agree we need to learn, question and do our own research. Well said.

Hello Words Whirling 'Round,

Excellent descriptions. Especially like the use of "twixt", it's a good word.

To Keaton,

To begin with let me just say 'wow'.
I especially like the description towards the end about fate driving the bus off the cliff and perhaps someone else would clean up the mess that it left.
I also like the part about feeling so much that it makes you numb. It would be difficult to relate or imagine unless you've been there.
Overall a great read and I look forward to more.

Kind regards

Review of Merovingian  Open in new Window.

To Keaton,

I enjoyed reading this poem.

'Merovingian' is cruel, merciless and yet strangely amusing. Despite his tyranny and knack for violence I find I am imagining him as a spoiled brat about 10 to 13 years old.

The descriptions of his actions are precise, to the point and create a very vivid picture of what he is capable of doing to get his way and become 'the ruler of weaker men'.

It's even more interesting to think that all this could be viewed as nothing more than a fantasy one would escape to rather then face whatever troubles them.

Excellent piece.

Kind regards

Dear K. Foster,

Wow! The images your words conjure up dark and shadowy yet there's a feeling of expectancy or anticipation that's both hopeful and scary. I especially like the second verse. The dancing wind and the hellish embrace. It's an enticing and picturesque environment yet dangerous and forgiving.

It has been a little while since I've been frequenting the site and I am delighted to find that your contributions to this site are still as powerful and well written as I recall.

As always I look forward to reading more of your work.

Kind regards

To Kevin

First of all, I like this. It's staggered, you're confused yet the persistence of the 'Drip. Drip.' keeps it flowing - acting like the backbone for the piece. The descriptions are vivid and accurate for the symptoms of depression. The overall feel of the poem, of someone trying to remember and when they do they wish they hadn't is familiar for all of us.

Keep on writing

Thanks kindly

Straight to the point. Simple words that pack a punch. We all have a story like this, I'm sure. A good read.

A very apt description to truly 'see' people. I liked the imagery used, it creates a vivid picture. Particularly the third paragraph, the dryad to imp to wolf.
