A very good description, in poetry on how it feels to have a panic attack.
I just wrote a book on panic and anxiety. It is now available through B&N and Amazon..
Take a look at my portfolio, and check out "Involuntary Restraint" If you are interested, you can also check out my webpage. A friend of mine send me your poem to read, because we have this subject in common.
This is a very well thought out poem, that says all that you are feeling in your heart. It speaks and lets the reader feel the emotion in the words. It takes me back to when I met that one special man too, I remember feeling the same exact feelings.
Being a Mom of an ADHD Child, with Tourettes Syndrome as well, I found this to be quite interesting and very informational. I noticed some of the characteristics in Asperger's are the same of TS. Namely the movement of hands, fingers, or the whole body. My son has seemed to have grown out of the symptoms (involuntary movement, and speach) of Tourettes Syndrome, but still is very figity, and feels he has to be doing something all the time, or he is not happy, and to be quite honest, neither am I. I have also been a single parent with him, since he was a year old, and he is now 16. It is a rough road to go with kids with disorders, but they are very special people. My son is very talented in Music, and in fact, he stopped the symptoms of TS when I got him into playing piano and other instruments. He is like a genious when he can hear it. But reading is a different matter. He can't comprehend words, but never forgets anything he hears. This is in School, and with his Musical Talent.
A short, but very deep piece of poetry. It seems there is a deep sadness, or even torment going on within. The mask is put on so no one will know what is really being felt inside, protecting ever so carefully not to let anything out that may cause destruction that could never be repaired.
Nicely Done!
This poem is about how it feels to wake up in the morning with the one person in your life that you love, and know so well. Valentine Day is special because of your love and commitment to one another. This is a perfect poem for a Valentine Card. It says it all.
Review of 'One Step Ahead To Nowhere'
By: Don Anderson
I found this poetry writing to be very deeply written.
It is one that may be hard for some to understand just exactly what the poetry is talking about. Still I think it is very good work, and very intense.
This is a wonderful poem about the tsunami, and can represent many of the victims. We can't understand why things like this happen, only God himself knows the reason he allows such horrible things to happen. It's just goes to show, it can be an ordinary day, when disaster strikes. Not just when the clouds are dark, and the forecast is warning ... Life is strage. So we much cherish each and every day.
Great Job!
Keep up the good poetry writing.

This is a really wonderful poem. I like it because I can relate to it myself, as I too lost my Mom. My mother was a Christian Poetry writer, but she never published any of her writings. This one reminds me a lot of her.
God Bless you Saundra..
