Unfortunately, change can not be affected without the "rebel yell." It's a pity that so much violence and anger seem to be the only ways in which the human race can demand a new status. It's inspiring to see the many faces of oppressed nations banding together and demanding change, however it is disheartening to see how technology has effected the minds of the modern man in North America, those of us who cower behind computers and cell phones and do nothing for ourselves or our countries. Thank you for posting such a thought provoking piece.

I adore this piece. It makes me think of my mother who is constantly going on about her wrinkles and how old she looks. I always just tell her that every wrinkle- every line, has a story and shows that she's lived her life. She needs to read this! Thank you for sharing such beautiful words.

I love the simplicity and the child-like view of the cookie. I think that if you were to dive into that concept even more and explore those ideas further, you would have a real winner here. Ace job though, it totally brought a smile to my face and sweet nostalgia!
