Your story was a great way to kill some time. Your style of writing pulls one in and you're pretty good at writing young children, something most writers struggle with. I think you do have difficulties pacing the story, though. In half a paragraph you went from perfectly calm to a star crashing close-by. I look forward to seeing more of your work and congratulations on your first-place.
