Wow! I'm not sure I understood all that was going on, but I was gripped by it as I read it ... three times.

It wasn't always easy to read(and maybe adopting a different style of punctuation would help the reader) but it repaid the effort. A wondrerful word-picture, half lyrical, half stream-of-thought, of an etheral being exulting in her freedom - her cosmic dance: is she Mother Earth?

And then the dark force. Unyielding as concrete, set as steel, which leads to the assault upon her. A vicious attack against which she can barely defend herself. The symbolism speaks of urbanisation despoiling the fragile Earth.

At last she is rescued by the winds which bring her back to her lover, who tends her and brings her back to health, giving her wings to fly with. And while she heals Earth is restored to its former beauty. And when she is fully recovered they both fly out and perform their aerial dance to the rhythms of the universe and glorying in their love for each other.

Well - that's what I understood, anyway. And I loved it!

OK, I could nit-pick about a few things, but they are minor, and it would spoil by enjoyment of this work to search for them to point them out.

Brilliant! Well done!
