Review Style
I will review based on the flow and continuity of a story, how well a scene fits together, along with the over all feel the piece gives. If I find grammar errors I will mention them, but I generally don't focus on them.
I'm good at...
Grammar, the technical stuff. Setting and character description that will help build an interesting scene. If anything a unique perspective is always advantageous.
Favorite Genres
... pretty much anything.
Least Favorite Genres
I probably have least favorites, I just can't think of any.
I will not review...
I am very busy, so if the piece is rather long, I may need more time to review it. Or I may not be able to review it at all. I will try though.

This kinda gave me shivers... As a man who absolutely loves the sea, this was a beautiful poem to read. It touched me on a personal level but I won't go into that.

You were successful in capturing how the ocean can either be vast, overwhelming, and rather solemn entity, as well as peaceful and beautiful. Because it is indeed large and intimidating, and coastal weather isn't always the cheeriest.
The first half instills a sense of nostalgia and longing, both of which go well with the imagery of the weather you portrayed.

The second half is very... comforting, in a way. The personification of the wave and the other parts of the weather work very well in giving the second half a friendly and warm feeling.
I'll be interested in reading any other works you may have.

They say not all poems need to rhyme, and you have given an excellent example of this. As a young man who has experienced the "nerves which can cloud up thoughts" I must say you capture this phenomenon in language, a medium that can be difficult to accurately portray emotions and thoughts. Not only do you capture the feeling of butterflies, but provide a method to overcome them, and control you human limitations. I came away from this poem with a positive vibe and a fuzzy feeling inside. I must say, "Well done, well done indeed."
