The question should be..."Would you support Equal Rights for Homosexuals?" because marriage itself is not a legal right. It is a religious right. Legal bindings, however, are legal rights, and not endorsed by the church. I am in favor of homosexuals being given these rights, but agree more with those who do not want the definition of marriage changed. The two should be seperate concepts, and should be treated as such. I am totally pro-Gay Rights, but I think there is a common misundersanding among everyone aobut this issue. The government should issue proof of legal binding, and the church should offer proof of marriage. The government should be required to offer it's share, but the church should be left to it's own discretion, as it is an intitution outside of the state, bound by it's own set of rules, whatever those may be. Just a thought. It is good to see from your poll that the homophobia crap is dying down, and people are actually becoming more tolerant. Sorry for going on for so long. I'm done now...
