You have obvious writing talent. However, the overall story became a little to ethereal toward the end and I couldn't quite picture the events anymore.

Some comments as I was reading: why is the snow blue? You forgot to insert the rhyme. I don't think "someway" is a word. Also "somehow someway" isn't good (choose one). Cold can seep into a house (even modern ones) regardless of a window not being open. "Hair like the color or oranges" - just say orange!
