DD again, this is even better. When I read this it reminded me of when i first met the girl i'm currently with! What love can make you do, how it can change you as a person is conveyed perfectly. You have the potential to do whatever you want. I have read a few portfolios here and yours is up there with the ones that make me want to read more.
Promised I'd stop by, this is really good! It made me very sad reading it. I'm left wondering if this happened to you. The simplicity of emotion you convey to the reader is very well done. It is clear you have ability when it come to writing! You say in your bio you would like to write a story one day. Today is the day! The only thing stopping you is yourself, all I can say is just do it, what's the worst that can happen?? The longest journey starts with the smallest step!
This is one of the first poems I've read on writing.com, I usually stick to the stories. I have to say this particular poem is excellent, the description you have used really does create a sense sadness and loss. Just reading the poem makes me want to write a story about it! And maybe even give it ago myself!
I really don't have any criticism, as with poetry I honestly wouldn't know where to start! I hope you can stop by at my portfolio sometime, I'm just in the process of writing a story now. The start of it will be available soon.
