I loved it! You really put your heart out there for all to see. What a lucky person to receive all that love. I hope you share it with him. It would make a lovely Christmas gift done up in calligraphy! I also love your careful use of size and typeface to make a statement with it.
I really liked this poem. It is unique and you have gone after a topic of which I have often pondered creating a poem about... roadkill. I do know my forest animals, and would likely be one of your smarmy family members correcting you. LOL (sorry about that! LOL)... but I took look at the poor roadkill animals with a need to give them voice. Well done! I liked it very very much for it's totally unique content! Well written as well.
Very lovely imagery. I love how you noticed the sadness of a fellow human being. I too look at folks in this manner and try to understand their story. I love how you captured what was just an ordinary moment in time and now with pen in hand it is there for all to share.
