Review of Moment To Moment  Open in new Window.

I do not believe in God, but this was beautiful. Seeing other people's faith is truly a lovely thing to read. It was a lovely thing to read, a prayer I felt connected to as someone who can not relate it felt right to read. I appreciate your willingness to share such a vunerable moment with the world

You wrote the accents quite well, a lot of the time when book's wirte an accent it can feel mocking or fake, it felt genuine when you wrote it and I'll give credit there. Frankly can't judge the realism of the cooking as I have no idea how to prepare thanksgiving, but it felt real

A cute little short story. It reminds me of a short story about a ghost who just likes watching the everyday life of those around him. Sometimes the mundane makes the best stories and no matter what it's all in the way to present your story. You presented it well and quite realistic.

For some reason this poem reminds me a lot of the song 'the plagues' from the movie Prince of Egypt, the grumesome detail, but also really of death in an area is truly painful to see, and read about. you displayed that perfectly and it truly was a good piece to read

Review of He Came In Dreams  Open in new Window.
Review by Axel R. Lennon Author IconMail Icon

I was a bit worried it would take some sort of dark term or something, but I'm glad it didn't the ending is perfect allowing the reader to wonder what happens and next and want to read a piece about the meeting, but the pacing was a bit slow, but a good story nonetheless.

The story is good and the way it is written works well, the only thing I would suggest you change is in some part it needs to be made more clear who is speaking, I struggle with this two, but with you have back and forth a lot it can sometimes get confusing who is saying that other than that it is a good piece.

Review of All I Really Want  Open in new Window.
Review by Axel R. Lennon Author IconMail Icon
Rated: 18+ | (4.5)
This was a lovely piece to read, the repetition worked wonderfly and everything flowed nicely together, you picked up the rythem very easily and that is incredibly important with poetry. This shows how one person might think and to an extent thought spirals, making it very relatable to read and in the format easy to digest. there is nothing to complain about here

Your story telling was great and the way you introduced and showed your characters was great and they felt like real people that you could meeting real life, and it was terrifying when monsters in stories feel like they could be the guy next door it's chilling and you did that well.

I loved this, absolutely incredible, still a little confused who the Ginderbread Men were but I have a good idea. It is written quite well and the was you decribe the world, but more importantly your characters. THe last few lines also worked wonderfully, a twisted artificial world, it was all perfect... all supposed to be perfect, but as fate would have it nothing is and you portrayed that perfectly.

That was great, a little slow at the beginning but the slowness feels intentional, my only comment would be work on change of pacing, the end felt a bit rushed and it would work for a short story, but less so for a chapter. Of course this is just me and you don't need to take my advice but pacing is very important for story telling, so maybe work on that little.

The way you wrote the story was good, the characters felt real and the way the dialogue worked seemed like really people talking which can be incredibly dificult to do. Not sure if this was intentionally or not, but if not then be sure to indent your paragraphs when they start it is easier to read. Other than that your descriptions are good, characters feel very real and the story is interesting and diffictely something I'd be interested in seeing the rest of

This was a beautifully tragic story. It felt incredibly real and really sad. The way it is written is lovely and respectful to the dead. It was two kids and that was shown perfectly. Even more so was the ending. How one horrible thing can completely change somewhere, one tragedy changes an area so completely.

This was really useful, as a person who is autistic and some unspoken rules need to be clarified I greatly appreciate that this was not only available but incredibly easy to find on the platform. The questions for me were particularly useful for how to write review for longer pieces and even short stories.

I assume this is closed but I was really curious if you have anything similar to this nextstophollywood thing. I am willing to both review and submit stories if you need, I understand if this is a one times thing a closed now, but I was wondering if their was something else opened up now?

The way you worded everything was beautiful and it portryed your story perfectly. I'm not really one to judge poetry as I'm not the greatest at it myself, but I could tell this was a well thought out and beautifully written piece. The ending was lovely and finished off everything well

It's a good short piece as someone who isn't religeuos i do ewnjoy seeing people who are talking about hod God has helped them or how he stands as a support or motivator on their behalf.i will never personally relate to this, but the way you wrote it made it feel natural and i enjoyed reading your piece

I personally don't like getting into real world politics, but the title grabbed my attention imidietly, it really does show the political enviornment of the US. Most countries can agree all politicians sucks, but in the US it's so, weird for lack of better word and this did show that enviornment well, how logic can be just thrown out the window

Review of The News  Open in new Window.

This was cute and realatable, not wanting to hear bad news, but when you say no and the person agrees, suddenly you want to here the news. The endign was wholesome and udnerstandable. Also just running up to them weeks later to ask what the news was was really funny and frankly something i have done before.

Review of Shadows of Truth  Open in new Window.

This was such an interesting piece to read, as someone who has different 'personalities' depending on who i'm with at the time I can relate to this far more than i wish i could. So yeah, it's true and a lot of people do it, but most people won't admit to masking so showing it this way was great to read.

This hit hard, just how the world has frankly gone to s***, having kids practice what it feels like being hunted, it's frankly utterly terrifying, the world has become scary and hard to bare, with everything going on, seeing it explained in words is a beautiful as it is uncanny

I'm noot personally religeous and nothing will ever convince me to be so, but this story felt incredibly genuine, the conection to God was clear and even if it is something i will never understand, i felt the emotion there and wtih so few words it is quite impressive.

This is cute. JUst the aliens wanting some drinks, which fair enough on their part and it's just a funny, also for a friend where can one meet these aliens? It's just a funny little sotry about a man making a joke with a sign and it ending up being true and then his reaction was a fun to read and I wish I could meet these aliens

"please don't leave me alone, I don't want to be alone again" this line hit me so so hard, i understnad that feeling perfectly where you will put up with anything, just so long as you are not alone. not with romantic realations but with friends i have always been terrified to lose anyone so i understand perfectly this feeling and you expressed it in such a raw way and that takes so much strenths to admit to those feelings, you did great. I know you don't know me, but I am so so proud of your for being able to share this

Review of After Regret  Open in new Window.
Review by Axel R. Lennon Author IconMail Icon

I feel this, i have anxiety and yay i have a semi-photographic memory. Regret is such an interesting this to describe and frankly quite difficult to do so, but you did an incredible job in showing that emotions through words, something that I struggle to so so props to you for that.

Review of Lesson Learned  Open in new Window.

This is yeah, I have three brothers and that's how all arguments went when we were kids. You get it all out at a young age, you get all your arguements and pettiness out at a young age against your siblings. Other than that the transition was a bit abrupt and I think it sort of works for the story
