Her/your expensive tastes are relatable; I like the surprise at the end that he laced her/you. Flows really well, overall a good read. I think the part where he started apologizing and almost panicking about what he had done is very much something most authors leave out; usually murderers are depicted as stone cold killers who know what they're doing, when really most of them don't, and it's more of an in the moment impulse.Adds more of a realistic touch. Good job!(Also I like the last two lines the best, really struck home for some reason )
I really like the way this short story flows. I like how the bit about not being able to paint at home set the tone for an exciting trial and error period in this art class, and how Mr. Cummings kind of took that excitement away. I think it's really sweet that the interest in painting didn't come back until after they/you saw the cute boy, and how even though he wasn't there at the end of the story, he was the reason they/you picked up that class. Over all really cute, sorry if this is a boring review haha I promise my writing is more interesting than this. Good job!
