I gave you a 4.5 (I'd have given you a 4.9 if that were allowed) because of your brilliant writing panache. I have met only two men who use their pens with such elan as you do. The .5 (or .1, in my mind)I decided to withhold because I am of the view that men and women are indeed different, but it would be a grave injustice to reduce their essence to how they react to flowers. I think male and female humans, whether individually or together, are so much more complicated than that. Other than that, your piece was quite a blast.
This is an extremely helpful article. If all writing.com reviewers were to follow every instruction and suggestion that you stressed, your site would be brimming with sated authors. I would certainly appreciate readers of my works who provide for critiques that will guide me into making my writing progressive and ultimately offering some worthwhile benefit to others. Reviews that genuinely seek to help authors improve makes a hell of a difference. I'll try to do just that in my reviewing for others.
Such a compelling testimony of God's goodness in your family's life! Your dependence on God throughout your darkest days are quite striking.
The writing's not bad, too. In fact, it's very engaging.
I wasn't expecting God to answer my prayer this soon(at least that's what I'm hoping for). I've been praying for Him to lead me to Christians whose transformed lives can greatly impact others, specially unbelievers.
I wonder, would you consider letting me publish "Blessings in Disguise" in the next issue of our church newsletter, 'The Beacon'? Its rationale is to "highlight the events and endeavors in the Christ Online Center ministries (that's my church); it is for the enlightenment of the reader and his family, helping them to get the most out their daily walk with Jesus and aiding them to cope with present-day concerns; it tells of people, places, cultures and God’s creation, and relates current local and global events, exploring their impact and significance to Christian living; the Beacon thrust lies in fostering a healthy recognition and appreciation of living life entirely under the Creator’s will in the hope that His Son Jesus’ imminent return will supplant the present depraved system of things in the world with his perfect and everlasting Kingdom."
Currently, because of funding limitations (we just came out with our maiden issue) we are publishing only up to 50 copies and distributing it to members and associates in the Philippines and to friends in Canada and South Africa.
If you are interested in taking me up on this offer, just let me know.
By the way, thanks for you kind reviews on my work!
