Even though I'm not a big fan of poetry, the title alone caught my attention, and I'm very glad I put aside my reservations and read it. The imagery alone was quite beautiful in an incredibly desolate way, and conjured up the sheer hopelessness of the situation. Very well written!

Even though this was so short, it didn't detract from it at all. The ideas were conveyed both clearly and elegantly, with no unnecessary words bogging it down. I found that it was also very easy to picture the scene as I was reading, which just added to the elegance.
