Wow, that is really great. You captured me and I couldn't tear my eyes away from the story for anything. Even though I suspected what the ending would be the entire time I still wanted to read it, find out what had occurred. That was more important then a obvious ending, the words that get me to the ending were more important. They kept my interest and I had to read everyone of them.
And with all that, my one critism: I didn't really like the ending. Not because I knew it all long, but for another reason something deeper. It didn't really 'fit' with the story. The ending takes away from the brillance of the rest of it. I was expecting something better, that would live up to Emmett and Mia. Maybe it just wasn't clear enough. With the rest of the story a more anticlimatic ending would fit, instead of a hopeful cliffhanger, because with your last line I don't believe Emmett will ever find her. I don't believe that he will go out and look for Mia and I certainly don't believe that he will find her.
