This one got me thinking a little, "wait so did the captain throw everyone overboard including himself?" haha but it made me laugh at the end. This is a very creative piece. I do not really want to know exactly what happened. I like the mystery. Good job.
When I started this poem, I knew it was going somewhere, I just did not know where; then I read the ending and it hit me. This poem is very funny and very clever. Great play on words that most people would not think of. At the same time the poem is also simple, and nothing too deep.
I like it. A creative spin to our most beloved fairytales. I don't think most people perceive the fairy tales this way but someone ought to. The princes can't just be kissing women without their consent. I applaud you.
I really like how you concluded the poem; the last line sums up the poem well, and it ends hauntingly and enchanting. This was a really creative idea. Keep up the good work!
This is an enchanting piece of poetry that you have written. "Keep your calm, swallow your pride,
The woods you search for have already died." is my favorite line in this because it is a great conclusion o such a good poem. Keep up the good work!
This Easter look at Romans 5:6-8 it is a great reminder of God's greatness and love when he died on the cross. This was a very nice poem that describes the sacrifice our God made for us. Keep up the creative work!
I love this. I have read a book on the Holocaust, "Faith and Doubt of Holocaust Survivors." This poem managed to capture the seriousness and sadness of the Holocaust. Overall the poem is written beautifully. Keep up the good work!
Good poem! I always have admired David in the Bible but of course, he was a broken man such as everyone else. Good job telling the story, as well as the happy ending of redemption.
Frankly, this work is beautiful I can not pick a favorite line, nor can I find a single flaw. If I had to pick a favorite line it would be the introduction, "As I gaze upon this wondrous sight, bitter scars of life I see,
this mighty oak that God did make, this tall majestic tree." Keep up the good work!
This poem is an inspiration to those who are e=dealing with similar pains as you are. Keep fighting, and keep writing poetry. The world will be a better place because of it. Keep up the good work!!!!
"Peace is promised in all the sacred scriptures" I like how this line came after you described war. This poem represents the biblical accuracy that war will be common until Christ comes back. This was a very nice piece of work! Keep up the creativity!
Everyone needs motivation from time to time; "Don't be negative" certainly takes a stab at motivating people. I agree with your words when you say, Don't look over one's shoulders and when you say stop saying can't. This was a very nice piece you wrote. Keep up the good work!
I really enjoy this work. The story brings off feelings of random joy in a world that is so cynical. I suppose that's the message right? You are going to dance and be happy regardless of what people have to say about it, and that is really cool.
Beautiful, and tragic. "Warrior that once stood strong Warrior that once stood proud, Warrior once beloved by all" These lines hit home for me: this poem makes me think of all the lives we lost, and all the sacrifices that have been made. Keep up the good work!
