It is only in the last part that you acknowledge that walls are built not just by mental patients but by ordinary people as well. That is an interesting yet provocative social aspect of life currently affecting our social infrastructure globally, it is not a centralized problem. Maybe you could have looked into this aspect ?
A very metaphorical introduction to be the foundations of this essay, but the ramifications of this metaphorical introduction was not emphasized on throughout the essay I guess, but thats my personal opinion, for I doubt going on in that literary slang will actually amuse most readers.
Its fortunate you do not fall that deeply into the condescending tone most authors will inevitably have a trace of in this kind of essays. Overall though its a good essay, a pleasure in reading it.
