Review of Cockroach Cameo  Open in new Window.

What an intelligent piece of delightful writing! I wonder, indeed, if it's not the roach at it again! The simplicity of style is delectable! But the imagination demands that this be a longer piece. There ought to be particular instances of the roach's deep and unexpected insights. Something that explores human vanity over such a natural thing as intelligence, yet, in this same demeanor of sweetness you have so wonderfully used instead of the usual shades of reproach which most writers employ.
There are some typos --

1. because its humans didn't know of its existence (The apostrophe in the "it's" is very important here as it's the beginning of an unusual tale)

2. Nanai's cockroach typed everything in all-capitals (missing j in nanajis)

3. this cockroach was hatched in a suitcase ('was' not required)

Would love to read more of the roach's adventures and unique insights!

It's a good bit of mystery, and indeed, the conclusion was to the heart's expectation and satisfaction. But the thing is, the lack of better connection, the psychological entanglement and confusion that lead a little girl from an innocent inquiry into the saddening developments that culminated in the troubled conclusion has drained the depth from the writing. Oh, just a line, a hint of event, environment or circumstance that gave some bit of insight into the girl's mind and this piece would have been deliciously horrifying!

I hope I don’t hurt anyone’s emotions for that is not my intention. But reasoning needs a person to be unbiased.
Now I would like to draw your attention to the phenomenon of ‘chains’. One thing affects another and everything forever goes on in chains. Everything every action that we carry out has effects and it might lead to different happenings.
Now, whenever a consequence of significance occurs one should contemplate as to what actions could have led to it – this doesn’t imply that actions carried out by others don’t affect you (possibly they might have made it go wrong for you) – but when instead of thinking the chains of events through, we ask God for reasons it is only because we are scared of facing some mistake which we made which led to a painful consequence. Because, I’m quiet sure, if you believe in God, then you will agree he is absolutely unbiased because if he gets biased the huge chains running all the time every where will be disturbed and the world might just fall into chaos.
I think thinking about your past and being always conscious of your actions is what helps in living a Human life…because those who can’t reason are lovely beings called animals and are eaten just without any guilt by so many while eating a Human being is called ‘cannibalism’…
Well so I think its not about whether a heart is pure or not its about the chains that it is surrounded with – if it is incapable of action then the people concerned should dutifully see that no harmful affects come the beings way – the beings capable should work towards being forever aware of their actions and surroundings…
I hope you will treat this as you would a medicine, which is bitter and awful, and not as words written to hurt your feelings…
