This really personifies what I (and probably others) feel about war. The feeling of being forgotten or dieing in vain really comes through to show that the soldier is just an ordinary man, trying to do his duty but there's no one left to help him. I thought this was a good poem that really gets its message and point of view across to the readers while staying in a simple format. Well done.
