i could feel your tension grow as you wrote it, and writing in the narrative tone, you made me believe that who wrote this had actually been through the whole experience.
This time i think you excelled. I have read "The Fun House" and i liked it but "The Sound" is even more developed in many ways.
i liked the pace most, also the characters, the leading character Fred Ryan who is both funny and smart but doesn't try to show off in any way, i like the funny tone of the accidents.
The theme is very interesting and at some points i was eating through words to know what happens next. And it made me laugh.
