Is it true? So touching sensitive and real narration, perfect I got a feeling as if I know and can recognise Noni, It takes great courage to live life on your own terms and take a stand for what you believe in, to hold on to what you know is right, one of the faces of love in its many a splendered form. Great piece of work, inspiring must say.
Beautiful, touching and a very sensitive potrayal of an experiance, daily perhaps for someone dealing with an alzheimers' patient, more so when the person happens your mother, your very own roots. Your ending lines bring out the optimist in you; wonder how would it feel to be introduced to someone you love so dearly, 'Your very own Mother'. Life can be strange.
Interesting little story, build up gradually with vivid description of food; making you wonder what's with the smell of banana peppers, only to find out that it is the most important feature in this story; so it is in the main characters' life, truely many an ordinary things in life turn out quite dramatic. Good writing.
Like the imprints left behind on sand, only to be washed away by a wave; these lines are deep and touching. Love the thought. It's rare that so much is encompassed in lines so few yet can say a lot. the writers skill comes through strongly. Keep writing, great work.
