Well friend, in fair review, I appreciate that your poetry has rhyme and rhythm - so often modern poetry is pure chaos. I think that it is well metered and well presented.
However, the subject matter rather disturbs me (especially if you really are a Jewish Israeli). As I've been reading the news, no more than nine people were killed by the Israeli military in this blockade, and they were all on the last ship (the Mavi Marmara), and that those on board were only fired upon in self defense - after the soldiers started getting beaten with iron rods and tossed overboard. Forgive me if you believe your troops had no right to board the Marmara and I'm just a dumb American who doesn't know anything, but I thought your nation was at war with the Hamas terrorists in Gaza? Shouldn't your nation take reasonable tactical steps to prevent them from receiving supplies, in the interest of saving your life and the lives of your loved ones? (There is a long history of cutting off enemy supply lines in warfare, and I assure you, it is both an effective and fair tactic.) Let me ask you - please feel free to mail me as lengthy a response as you feel impassioned to - do you really think that your own country has no right to defend itself from destruction? There's so many missiles pointed at you guys from enemies on all sides right now, how in the world are you going to survive if there isn't even Jewish solidarity inside your borders? That's a rhetorical question. The answer is, it's going to take an act of God. Fortunately there's this prophecy that promises you won't be totally wiped out. Have you ever read Ezekiel 38-39? But in the meantime, there's enough Neo-Nazi's in the media already, please don't be part of the cry to send your own people back to the ovens.
