My father was on trial years before I came along. He had been thought to have been an accomplace of a friend of his whom started a fire to an apartment building. THough, luckily, someone had asked my dad what time it was during the same moment the lone fire-starter set the place aflame and some how proved my father to be in a different place. Very strange. When I read this poem (which is very good) it reminded me of my dad's story. To this day, no one remembers who asked my dad the time of day during the time of the crime, but I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him. Strange fate, eh?
Very good poem, I enjoyed it.
