I knew a writer could give anything a voice... I did not consider leftovers one of them. Thanx you for opening my perception. I really like this poem, everything about it. :D
This is heartfelt poem. It reminds me of a line in a book called "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran:
"When you part from your friend, you grieve not;
For that which you love most in him may be clearer in his absence, as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain."
We grieve the lost of a friend and we are thankful for how they enriched out lives. :D
You have a great imagination. Words are powerful tools, they can elevate or plummet someones esteem. Your story reminds readers that random acts of kindness can relieve a heavy heart. :D
There is a vast difference being in proximity physically and emotionally. It's disheartening when something like this occur because you never think it will happen to you. Thanx for sharing.
WOW! Powerful poem about your friend. "She is not here and even worse nothing to prove she is really gone" very profound line. I really like this poem.
The heart can only be truthful of what it feels. "Would make my heart soar to the sky, beautiful and blue" is very descriptive of the sensation of a kiss. That line makes me smile :D.
This is a refreshing read. You mention Wan-Wan without lessening the effect the rest of your animals have on you. It's sounds wonderful where you live totally different from living in a metropolis. I enjoyed reading and welcome you to visit my space in the community.
