Also, I was extremely interested to read that you're a homesteader. That's been one of my dreams for years. I want myself (and the family) to be more self-sufficient. We live in town but have permission to have chickens and goats...I just need to save up the moolah and get'em.

What kinds of animals/livestock do you have?

I'm also dreaming of starting up a garden but, again, it's going to take some work to get the backyard in order. It's a bit overrun with blackberries. Which is one of the reasons I want goats! *Laugh*

Anyway, I'd love to read some poetry or stories about your homesteading life! I bet you have all sorts of adventures and funny stories about that lifestyle.
