If you mean Newsfeed notes, there is an arrow thingy in the upper right corner of the note. Click that and a pop-up will appear. Click Edit This Note (or whatever). You will also see how you can save someone's note if you want or you can delete your note. After you edit in the edit box below your note and save the edit, if you need to edit again, you have to refresh the page to do so.
If you are trying to edit a post in a forum, open your post and in the upper right corner you will see Edit (or something like that). Click that, edit, save.
Schnujo's Doing NaNoWriMo? In actuality I meant contributions to others' stories. I called them posts because I didn't think this note would ever be seen by anyone so I didn't put that much thought into my choice of words.
