So tired, so much to do, three books to review for WdC activities, and I have no spoons nor the energy to look for them. Hello I am so sorry to hear about your cat George . Our pets become very much part of our family . I lost my eldest cat Sorrel in November so very much understand that .
The temps have dropped and we got snow for a short while.

Email is languishing and the cruelty and neglect police are searching for me so I can't stay long.

My muse is intact but I've been focused on surviving this next cold snap.

Our water hoses are turned off because they will freeze and I haven't found any hose blankets.

I am thankful for the wood stove, mini-split, water in containers, my friend who helps me, the internet and cell phone, food, water, raiment, shelter, and all that God does in Jesus name, amen.

I'm sorry modern electric blankets don't heat up as well as they used to. They're better than nothing, but still, not the same as the old days. Of course, the ones in the old days would occasionally catch fire, so I guess there's that. lol
Praise and glory to God! The hoses have thawed and I am filling 5-gallon buckets and other containers with well water.

The snow is melting and I hope the shaded parts of the unpaved access road will thaw by tomorrow.

I have much to do and will be busy toady/night and tomorrow before the temperatures drop into the twenties and teens at night.

We are doing and so are the animals.

I think my refrigerator is shivering especially knowing the temperatures are soon going lower. Hopefully my friend and I will be able to replenish our stored water tomorrow. I miss George. God is good all the time. I have a heavy weight on my shoulders called Luna my orange tabby. Blog...It's crying because of neglect. Email is languishing I've got to work on this before I'm arrested by the email cyber enforcement authority and locked out of my WdC email account...if they can catch me. Ok, ok, ok I'll behave even though this ruins my fun and work through my inbox soon. Holly my CAG requires my attention and I should comply before I'm accused of birdie neglect. I have a lot of real life and WdC catching up to do. The hoses are frozen and I hope thaw soon so we can replenish our stored water resources. Snow is still blanketing the ground. I thank God for electricity, the wood stove and firewood, and for all He does for me and everyone. Safe travels and many blessings.

My friend has been stuck in the snow and unable to drive home since about 4 PM. She has road assistance but getting help has been very difficult. I just talked with her and she says there's headlights behind her. I hope it is her long awaited help. It's awful to have road assistance and no help for many, many hours.

Not only has my friend been at risk because of her heart condition and other health challenges, but I also have been at risk because she is my only help.

We have 2 weeks of laundry tomorrow to do,my Dr appointment and Walmart for kitty supplies. It's hard not having enough help.
Our kids are in Oregon and don't stay in touch now. It's rough but at least we have each other and faith.
Hopefully one day things will get easier for all of us. 💟💟💟💟
